SMITHS BASH (the first issue release party) 20th November

To coincide with the release of SMITHS Magazine's 1st issue we're having a BASH- not a good old fashioned one but a wild and happening new thing.

Heavy weights of the international avante-garde music scene, will be playing live, including...

SAMIYAM (U.S.A, Brainfeeder)

Debruit (France, Musique Large)

The Jazz and jump fueled beats of United Vibrations will also be keeping the atmosphere fresh.

There is also the inter-society 'Sound Wars Competition'. This brings societies into battle on song selection. The winning society is judged by the crowds reaction to their musical 'fighting words'. Cheers, hollas and hoots will get your society through.

Finally, expect all this to take place in the Students Union like you've never seen it before. The Union will be appropriated to the SMITHS theme, 'WE CAN DO ANYTHING WITH THIS', and find itself alive with multiple live visuals, live art and DIYings.
