Jason Derulo: Secret Session at River Island with R’n’B’s Man of the Moment!
I love this job.
I went to an exclusive gig in central London as part of River Island’s brand new ‘Secret Sessions’ event- where R’n’B sensation Jason Derulo performed an intimate set to a crowd of 50 fans.
It was Jason’s first ever performance in the U.K., and the man didn’t disappoint- delivering amazing vocals and incredible dance moves, as well as handing out free copies of his catchy debut single ‘Whatcha Say’ – which has become an R’n’ B anthem and reached the number one spot in the American Billboard charts, beating stars such as Jay-Z and Miley Cyrus.
The humble, sweet and down to earth star- who performed in River Island clothing alongside his fabulous back-up dancers (looking pretty fine if I do say so myself, and I most certainly do) - even waited to sign the free CD’s for each of the fans who had made the journey to come and see him perform ( some of whom nearly fainted just being in his presence, bless ‘em).
Jason also treated us to two other tracks- ‘Love Hangover’ and ‘In My Head’ (his next single) from his forthcoming album, due for release later this year.
Expect big things from this artist- Jason Derulo is a fantastic live act with more hit singles that are sure to follow the success of his debut!
